Program History
Our program began in 2007 with just one team. Garret Cannizaro was our first player to commit to play for the Knights. Garrett went on to play at Tulane and was drafted twice.

After years of locking horns on the field, the Knights organization brought aboard Chad Raley in the winter of 2016 after successfully building Marucci Elite into a national contender. With rosters that included the likes of MLBers Walker Buehler, Aaron Nola, and Oscar Mercado alongside 26 other big leaguers, Chad has brought that same ability of attracting talent from around the country to the Knights while creating something special in the state of Louisiana.

What We Are Looking Forward to Scouting in 2020
"The Knights 15u program went on a run in 2018, completing their journey with a championship win after going 6-1 in pool play, wining a triple header through the playoffs before winning both the semi-final and championship in back-to-back games. Looking back at the roster, 19 players are now committed for the Division 1 level and the core group of talent returns in 2020 alongside a few new faces for this year’s 17u WWBA. Hunter Elliott and Josh Pearson are two talented lefthanded bats who made their presence felt in 2018 with Elliott pulling two-way duties which he’ll likely do again this summer for the Knights. From Joshua Stevenson and Brant Smith to Ethan Alston and Baylor Cobb, many of the faces on offense return while the addition of talented shortstop Brennon McNair and catcher Cole Joyner will make their presence felt. It’ll be fun to follow their arms too as they feature plenty of velocity with Chase Allsup, Jack Walker, and Andrew Woods showing big heaters while Timothy Williams and Samuel Dutton bring big time pitchability to the rotation. Keep close eyes on righthander Peter Heubeck, a talented righthander out of Maryland who can reportedly run his fastball into the mid-90s and is certain to draw in scouts for his starts.

The core nucleus of this club knows what it takes to make a run in a national championship setting and with the additions they brought in for the summer, watch this Knights club and don't be surprised when they're making another run." -Jheremy Brown
