Maurizio Rodriguez (2028 OF, Miami, FL) Demolished a FB into LCF and reached 2nd safely. Aggressive turn on the backside along with great feel for the barrel.


Kevin Diaz (2027 OF, Miami, FL) Gets all over a FB and smokes it into the pullside gap for a double. Keeps the path short and direct to contact and kept the bat speed up on a ball in. Finds another barrel, this time sitting into the load and smoking a breaking ball through the 5-6 hole.


Matthew Gonzalez (2027 OF, Miami, FL) Finds a way on here smoking this through the left side of the infield for a single. Later on crushes a ball into the opposite field gap for a triple.

  

Nicolas Ochoa (2029 2B, Hialeah, FL) Catches a FB just a hair out front but kept his path true and finds some grass for a knock. Showed feel for the strike zone and strength in the barrel. 


Anthony Fernandez (2028 C, Miami, FL) Engages the core well and smoked a single up the middle. Great barrel control along with the hand path, he continues to dominate arms this weekend. Added another hard hit barrel to the day, this time a single to the pull side. Kid was absolutely unstoppable hitting yet another double, 


Adrian Felix (2028 OF, Miami, FL) Turns the barrel hard and smokes a single right back up the middle, collecting an rbi. Quick barrel with some solid control to go along with that.

AJ Cruz (2026 SS, Miami, FL) Cruz effortlessly manipulated the barrel, going 2-for-2 with a no-doubt homerun while driving in three runs. The Samford commit displays flashes of elite bat-to-ball skills with budding strength. On the dirt, he simply makes the difficult play look routine. Ballplayer.

Christopher Roque (2027 RHP, Hialeah, FL) Roque fired two innings shows plenty to like, he struck out three while hurling his primary offering up to 91mph with immense arm-side run. He tunneled his lively fastball with a 79-81mph slider, while flashing a changeup with tumbling action. Intriguing arm talent.

Christopher Amador (2028 3B, Miami, FL) Amador appears to be in a flow state while in the box, he went 2-for-3 with a loud double that went pull-side. He makes good swing decisions and creates leverage with a balanced right-handed swing. One of the younger participants of the event, be sure to keep an eye on Amador within the next few years.

James Gil (2027 SS, Sunrise, FL) Gil went 2-for-2 with a double to the pull-side. The uncommitted infielder definitely left his mark, he hit 4-for-5 during the event while stealing three bags. To mention, he posted a 6.78 60 time during workouts. 

Evan Ferreira (2029 C, Miami, FL) Ferreira caught ahold of a fastball, swatting a double pull-side while utilizing a compact right-handed swing. He finished the day going 2-for-2 while swiping a bag. In workouts, he flashed the ability to drive the ball to all-fields with intent.

AJ Cruz (2026 SS, Miami, FL) The Samford commit swung the lumber with intent, going 2-for-3 with a triple that ricocheted atop the fence in centerfield. He utilizes a vicious, compact right-handed swing. Sure-handed defender, Cruz’s internal clock is constantly ticking, and he inherits above average arm strength.

Christopher Vasallo (2027 SS, Miami, FL) Vasallo raised eyebrows very early in his look, his fastball touched 90mph with heavy arm-side run. To disrupt hitter’s, the uncommitted prep righty spun a mid-70s slider with solid shape. 

James Gil (2027 SS, Sunrise, FL) Gil had a multi-hit performance on the day, he went 2-for-3 with a pair of knocks. He impressed during workouts with the lumber showing evident feel while driving the ball to all fields— there’s no surprise he handled business in-game. Two-way potential, he ran his fastball up to 86mph through two innings of work. 

Christopher Amador (2028 3B, Miami, FL) Amador stood out in relief today, hurling fastballs up to 87mph with ease. He attacks hitters early and often, inducing a plethora of whiffs. He led atop the lineup to for the Royal team also, going 1-for-3 with a double. Checks a lot of boxes. 

Leo Thibault (2029 OF, Key West, FL) Thibault got off his “A” swing to start off the Top of the 4th inning, he swatted a fastball that split the right-centerfield gap for a double. He utilizes a balanced, efficient left-handed swing to impact the baseball. Expect a few glimpses of raw power from Thibault once he matures into his 6-foot-2, 170-pound frame. 

3-Gray vs. 4-Green Game Highlights

11/1/2025

Kevin Diaz (2027 OF, Miami, FL) had multiple hits in this one including a hard double to the right centerfield gap. He also singled up the middle in the second at-bat showing fast hands and good barrel feel. 

Matthew Gonzalez (2027 OF, Miami, FL) had a big hit, a monster two-run home run to the opposite field in the first inning. Gonzalez lagged the hands nicely to create lift and direction to the opposite field. 

Esteban De La Nuez (2028 RHP, Miami, FL) worked up to 88 mph in his first inning, holding mid-80s the entire way. The breaker is firm in the mid-70s and there's serious sizzle to the fastball out of the hand. 

Carlos Burac (2027 C, Miami, PM) lofted a double high offf the netting in right centerfield. There's good leverage to the stroke and the ability to lift posits some solid future power. 

Bengie Del Nodal (2029 SS, Hialeah, FL) crushed a double to the pull side that ricocheted off the left field wall. It's a balanced set up with good bat speed and he creates space well with a tight turn. 

Adrian Felix (2028 OF, Miami, FL) closed things out on the mound and also had two knocks in this one. It's a loose, projectable left-handed stroke while the low-80s (T84) fastball also offers some serious upside on the mound.
