3-Gold V. 2-Columbia Blue Game Highlights

8/10/2025

Axton Westmoreland (2028 OF, Senatobia, MS) had three pitches for strikes after showing out in center field all day. Low-80s arm with good feel for a breaking ball and changeup. Solid strikes.

Jack Simpson (2028 RHP, Andover, MN) showing out with the stick now with a double the other way. Has a quick bat speed led swing with strength at impact.

John Wagner (2028 3B, Montgomery, TX) continued the onslaught with a roped double to right-center. The two-way athleticism and strength really stands out. He hits balls hard and it jumps off his bat.

Reid Bostic (2028 SS, Nashville, TN) very solid look with some angle and crossfire. Upper-80s on the fastball with a bending slider to mix. Big time two-way standout all weekend.

Grady Callaway (2028 C, White House, TN) just pieced a ball back up the middle for a knock. Handled velo and barreled one on a line, stretching for extra bags. Physical for the grade and looks the part behind the dish.

Rowan Deming (2028 C, Saint Paul, MN) drove one deep to left for a barrel that unfortunately didn't see grass. It was one of the better swings of the day, turning on an inner-half fastball.

Landon Abercrombie (2028 3B, The Woodlands, TX) pair of impressive grabs in right field and has a low slot on the dirt too. Versatile athlete and fits a multitude of roles defensively.

Nate Simmons (2028 1B, Shelbyville, TN) pieced one the other way for a knock. Stays short and direct to contact, but it's the strength at impact that really stands out. Physical in the box.

2-Columbia Blue V. 1-Black Highlights

8/10/2025

Dominic Rossy (2028 C, Marietta, GA) two-way talent with big arm talent. Up to 89 and worked upper-80s really getting down the slope and downhill. Has a cannon of an arm behind the plate too.

Cole Krokus (2028 MIF, Virginia Beach, VA) battled on the bump a bit and can spin it a good bit. Has a solid slider and curve to his mix and worked into the low-80s as a primary middle infielder.

Colter Pixley (2028 C, Livingston, TX) lined one hard down the line for a double to the opposite field. Has strong hands at the point of contact and worked a quality at-bat in the process.

Ryder Holmstrom (2028 SS, Shawnee, KS) found a knock to the pull side in game action. Has quick hands through the zone with plenty of intent to his swing. Solid defender with actions up the middle and low-80s arm on the hill with good mix.

Cooper Mitchamore (2028 C, Cypress, TX) continues to see it well with another knock to add to his weekend. Battled with two and poked one, great defender for age and constant communicator behind the plate.

1-Black vs. 3-Gold Game Highlights

8/10/2025

Bryce Odom (2028 OF, Ozark, AL) lined a single back up the middle on an aggressive hack. Odom has quick hands and takes quality at-bats.

Tyler Sharp (2028 1B, Raleigh, NC) got a two strike breaking ball and sent it the other way for a single. There's real hitterish tendencies in the box for Sharp.

Landon Johnson (2028 OF, Flowood, MS) collected a nice piece of hitting on a line drive double down the opposite field line. There's good flick to the wrists and he kept the swing short and to it.

Drew Wagner (2028 3B, Franklin, TN) had the hardest hit of the day, an opposite field triple into the gap. Wagner has big bat speed and tools and is exciting to watch.

2-Columbia Blue vs. 3-Gold Game Highlights

Martin Aiden Naranjo (2028 RHP, Winchester, CA) showed solid stuff during his three inning start, living in the 82-84 mph range with three pitches. The breaker has shape and he missed bats with the changeup showing good tumble.

Drew Wagner (2028 3B, Franklin, TN) made a defensive highlight in this one, going full extension to rob a single with a diving catch coming in on the ball.

David Pruitt (2028 1B, Tallapoosa, GA) showed real impressive two-way upside, working up to 88 mph. The arm speed and whip stood out to go along with the overall projection. He also pulled a single through the right side in game action.
