3-Black vs. 4-Columbia Highlights

10/26/2025

Camden Bacon (2031 SS, Santa Fe, NM) pounded zone in his two shutout innings of work on Sunday. Was basically 70% strikes throughout his outing. Fundamentally sound operation with developing arm strength. Showed ability to land a breaking ball.

Andre Herrera (2029 OF, El Paso, TX) struck out four in two innings of relief work where he was dominant and also added two knocks. Relaxed operation down the mound with a fast arm that ran the FB up to 80 while mixing in an effective sweeping breaking ball.

Trevor Hammack (2030 RHP, Tucson, AZ) found a nice pull side barrel for a LD single. Simple swing operation allowing him to be on-time consistently and produce quality contact.

Grayson Harder (2030 RHP, Scottsdale, AZ) had a nice LD single into left. Delivers the barrel on a flatter path through the zone with some out front intent.

Adriano Martinez (2030 SS, Spring Valley, CA) did a nice job dropping barrel on a 2K pitch and lining back through the middle for a single, showing some adjustability and barrel accuracy.

Michael Guidi (2030 RHP, San Diego, CA) lined one hard into the left-center gap for a single. Foot gets down early as he lets his hands work quick + direct to the baseball.

Kal-El Ramirez (2029 C, Avondale, AZ) added two LD knocks after collecting a hit in game 1. Quality barrel accuracy within a path that shows good out front length.

Samuel Haddad (2030 RHP, El Paso, TX) found another loud in-game barrel with an oppo drive into the LC gap for a double. Gets to some easy strength within a smooth/simple LH stroke.

Julian Benitez (2030 SS, El Paso, TX) had a 2H game on Sunday with his best knock being a line drive shot over the LF's head for a triple. Minimal moving parts allowing for easier timing and just let's his quick hands work.

3-Black vs. 4-Columbia Highlights

10/25/2025

Samuel Haddad (2030 RHP, El Paso, TX) was a two-way standout in Game 1. Threw three shutout innings where he struck out seven and added a LD single into the RC gap. T76 with his fastball while mixing in a quality breaking ball he showed the ability to land in-zone. Smooth LH stroke at the plate working the barrel on a level path through.

Michael Guidi (2030 RHP, San Diego, CA) was dominant in his three innings of working giving up no hits and struck out seven. Slow and methodical down the mound but creates length and repeats. 63% strikes in his outing. Produced swing and miss with his mid 70s fastball and landed his slurvy breaking ball in-zone.

Trevor Hammack (2030 RHP, Tucson, AZ) had a 2H game with his best knock being a LD through the middle where he stayed inside it nicely and worked the barrel with good length in the path.

Jackson Kaplowitz (2030 SS, El Paso, TX) drove one over the LF's head for a double. Flatter stroke working the barrel with some out front intent. Also added three quality innings on the mound.

Julian Benitez (2030 SS, El Paso, TX) lined one hard back up the middle for a single. Keeps it real simple/easy with his lower half as his hands work the barrel on a more direct path to the baseball.

Kal-El Ramirez (2029 C, Avondale, AZ) grounded one hard through the 5-6 hole for a single. Eliminated the lower half and let his quick hands play, throwing a short/direct barrel through the zone.

Grayson Kruchko (2030 OF, Cave Creek, AZ) had a 2H game. Lined one hard up the middle for a single and grounded one hard into left. Shorter bat path that levels out into contact.

Nicolas Hammerstein (2031 SS, Kihei, HI) had one of the better swings of the day. Simple LH stroke where he sat back on a breaking ball and lined it the other way for a single.

Byron Nava (2031 C, Phoenix, AZ) collected his two hits with his best being a double down the LF line. Kept his hands in tight on an inside fastball and back spun it to the pull side.

BP Highlights

10/25/2025

Camden Bacon (2031 SS, Santa Fe, NM) showed off a flatter/level stroke through the zone that produced a majority of soft liners through the SS.

Andre Herrera (2029 OF, El Paso, TX) showed some inconsistent barrel feel and timing but flashed loose hands and some quality bat speed that produced a couple hard FBs/LDs through the middle.

Kal-El Ramirez (2029 C, Avondale, AZ) got off some balanced hacks. Some rhythm to the swing that works short to it with some strength. Sent several quality liners through the SS and into the LC gap.

Javin Chavez (2031 MIF, Rio Rancho, NM) was on-barrel the majority of his round. Not a ton of strength but worked the barre on a level path through where he sent quality liners back through the middle and into the RC gap.

Trevor Hammack (2030 RHP, Tucson, AZ) worked the middle of the field with solid contact. Flashes of some hand speed and quality bat speed. On-time and balanced throughout.

Mason Venditte (2031 OF, Peoria, AZ) got off compact hacks working the barrel on a level path through. Was on-barrel half the round producing barreled fly balls and line drives into the gaps.

Elias Romero (2029 C, Phoenix, AZ) was one of the stronger kids of this group. Big intent to each swing, having trouble controlling the barrel at times but still produced hard low liners to the pull side and up the middle.
