2025 Trosky Showcase
Connor Betz is a 2030 3B/RHP/2B with a 5-1 112 lb. frame from Paso Robles, CA. Compact, wiry build and ran a 8.92 in the sixty. Showed well during infield and first base drills. Infield round showed sound actions and a crisp process for grade. Has more strength coming, but sound process and fields from several angles well. Good internal clock to throws and has footwork. First base he took solid turns and adjusted the slot a bit on the move. Fields to his middle well. Aloo pitched, works from higher slot with a two-pitch mix and developing breaking ball. Stays in line a bit for grade and developing intent down the mound is next step. Right-handed hitter working from even base and open stance with a line drive swing. Good idea for staying short to contact and producing some liners to all fields. Quick hands through the zone.
