White V. Navy Game Highlights

8/24/2025

William Colten Loftin (2029 OF, New Braunfels, TX) continues to see it well with another roped knock. Has some very sound feel for the barrel at his grade and uses all fields.

Bently Moreno (2029 2B, Sandia, TX) BP has translated to game action very well with yet another knock. Used the opposite field to line one and tack on two RBI. Has some real keen hand-eye and looked the part on the dirt.

Jackson Jobe (2029 RHP, Leander, TX) very solid arm strength for age with an 81 mph running fastball that lives in the high-70s. Can break off a good breaking ball to mix and just filled the zone.

Ben Baker (2029 C, Austin, TX) roped one pull side for a double. Has some easy strength to the hands at this age, showed some adjustability to go down and get it. Fought off several tough pitches.

Aaron Cruz (2029 MIF, Pflugerville, TX) stung one deep the other way for extra bags. Put a really good swing on it, showing quick hands and solid barrel control at this age.

Benjamin Hicks (2029 SS, San Antonio, TX) low slot running fastball into the low-80s in relief with three pitches. Has a bendy slider and changeup with drop, been opening eyes at shortstop defensively too. Roped a booming triple and had another base knock, just put on a display.

Stephen Orta (2029 RHP, Corpus Christi, TX) laced a triple to the gap for a real loud barrel. He also found a base knock and has impressed both sides. Can really fill the zone as a primary arm but showed some feel to hit this weekend.

Cash Belangia (2029 MIF, Leander, TX) added another base hit to a big weekend as he is seeing it well. Very solid understanding for how to hit and time up his swing. Impacts it hard too, should only develop.

Grady Lackey (2029 SS, Crawford, TX) solid contact to all fields with some feel to hit for the grade. Produces good hard liners and really trusts the hands, fires with intent.

Brayden Ribble (2029 SS, Spicewood, TX) continues to see it well, clubbed one down the line for a double. Easy hand strength with power coming into the frame. Showing out on both sides.

Navy V. White Game Highlights

8/23/2025

Brayden Cunningham (2029 RHP, Austin, TX) big arm talent for a grade with a wipeout breaking ball. Lands it at will. Upper-70s heater played to both sides awfully well.

Brayden Ribble (2029 SS, Spicewood, TX) huge size and big arm strength for his grade. Has some life to the heater and plenty of feel for a bigger curveball in any count. Missed a ton of bats in zone and has two-way talent.

Benjamin Hicks (2029 SS, San Antonio, TX) made several sound defensive plays and showed out on the basepaths. Real good athlete for grade who showed some quality in-game swings too.

Aaron Cruz (2029 MIF, Pflugerville, TX) drove one to the oppostie field for a triple. Quick hands adjusted to an inner-half offering. Wiry middle infielder has work quality at-bats all day.

William Colten Loftin (2029 OF, New Braunfels, TX) pieced a hanging changeup for a knock. Good left-handed strength for age, his quality BP has translated to in-game action.

Stephen Orta (2029 RHP, Corpus Christi, TX) four pitches and an array of looks from a clean arm. The feel to spin is really good for grade. He fills the zone and forces a lot of soft contact.

Abraham Benitez (2029 1B, Liberty Hill, TX) pieced one for a barreled knock. Stays short to contact with serious strength to the hands that should only mature with strength.

John Drew Mundine (2029 OF, Geronimo, TX) power mid-80s sinking fastball with a good breaking ball to match. He's a power, physical two-way talent with strength throughout his game.

Brody Childers (2029 SS, Austin, TX) very athletic for his grade and roped a knock the other way. Shows well on the dirt and can play a good bit all over. Can really defend.
