James Templeton is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Murrysville, PA who attends Franklin Regional. Athletic build with good present strength, especially in his lower half. Works from a high hand delivery with a high leg raise leg coil over the rubber, late hand break creates some deception, throws from a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, had a nice feel for changing and creating fastball life and threw the pitch for strikes, had very nice sink and run at times. Slider was a solid second pitch with some two-plane depth. Did not observe a change up. Outstanding student. Named to the PG Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
