Chris Mondesi (2018 SS, Brooklyn, NY) took perhaps the best BP of the day, showing a loose, extended swing with lots of raw bat speed. As you'd expect from a member of the MLB Mondesi Family, he had a very advanced load and shift into contact and overall excellent hitting mechanics as well as his physical skills.
William Jeffry (2017 OF, Caguas, PR) is still very slender at a listed 6-0/157 with extra long and slender legs but he has both bat speed and a very good feel for the barrel and squared up almost every ball, including a long home run into the lake beyond the left field fence.
James Hurst (2019 OF, Orlando, FL) is another player who showed nice feel for the barrel and hit the ball from a proper load and shift into contact. He's only a freshman but he looks like a player to watch down the road.
Sean Riera (2018 3B, Miami, FL) is a big and strong sophomore at 6-0/200 and he has strength in his swing and can get the ball to jump hard off the barrel.
Myles McKisic (2016 SS, Delray Beach, FL) looks bigger than his listed 6-2/175 and has strength in his swing with nice loose extension when he doesn't get to inside the ball and lets the barrel hunt out front.
Daniel Perez-Battistini (2018 1B, Miami, FL) is a strong young man with a very projectable 6-1/185 build. He's an aggressive hitter who is looking to drive the ball and has the bat speed and barrel skills to do so frequently.
Brant Brown (2018 OF, Venice, FL) looks like he has a chance to be another car in the long train of prospects that keeps coming through Venice High School. The sophomore has a pro type body and a loose and projectable swing with good present bat speed.
Ivan Prejean (2017 3B, Sorrento, LA) showed a well timed load and shift into contact with a loose and strong swing that showed solid gap power.
Justin Connell (2017 SS, Pembroke Pines, FL) has very good raw bat speed from a very aggressive swing approach and hits the ball very hard with severe top spin at times.
Kristopher Soto (2018 3B, Coral Gbales, FL) has a long and loose pull/power oriented swing that was both very well timed and executed and got the ball to jump hard off the barrel.
Brennan Keil (2019 RHP, Ormond Beach, FL) was notable for a number of reasons. First, he's a freshman who is 6-6/195 with hitting skills and tools at the plate. Second, he's a primary pitcher!
Jeffry Roldan (2017 2B, Aguada , PR) has a high average, high contact approach from the left side and a crisp swing with good bat speed. He hit the ball hard to all fields and looked like a polished hitter with an idea at the plate.
Chris Rodriguez (2017 1B, Coral Springs, FL) has an extra strong bowling ball type of build but has a very strong and loose left handed swing that really impacted the ball hard and often.
Tyler Esplin (2017 OF, Lake Bluff, IL) is big and athletic at 6-3/210 and has plenty of raw bat speed and impacted the ball hard when he got his foot down in time to start his swing.
Garett Wallace (2018 3B, Sanford, FL) is a strong sophomore with an aggressive swing and good bat speed who flashed big hitting tools.
Earl Semper (2017 3B, Fort Lauderdale, FL) is a very nice all around athlete who stood out in drills in both infield and outfield and switch-hits as well. He's legit from both sides with very good hand quickness and overall bat speed.
Caleb Roberts (2018 C, Coral Springs, FL) had a very sound and well executed left handed swing approach for a sophomore catcher and is very projectable physically.
Carlos Salaverria (2018 OF, Weston, FL) is a slender athlete at 5-9/156 but has whippy bat speed with quick hands and wrists to start his swing.
