Posted 7/26 @ 7:15am:
Inclement weather updates are posted in real-time @PGBAcentex. Use @PGBAcentex as your primary source for real-time updates and this message board as your resource for additional information .

Designated field coordinators and myself will be in touch first thing tomorrow and through out the day. We will be working hard to ensure that there is minimal impact on the schedule.

The top four seeded teams advance to semi-final and Championship play on Sunday. We are looking forward to a fantastic weekend of (safe) baseball. Please read through the memo below. *teams that have participated in a PGBA centex tournament already this summer have a Team Covid-19 waiver already on file.

-All Teams participating in this tournament must have their head coach or team representative sign an Assumption of Risk Team Waiver - and submit to aprater@baseballsolutions.com. All spectators, parents and/or guardians attending games at the D-BAT Kerrville Complex must sign a City of Kerrville Assumption of Risk Waiver. You can download a copy of these waivers by clicking the Blue Event Info button above or click on the word "waiver" in the previous sentences. Each team must also submit an Additional Insured Certificate listing Texasbt, LLC as additional insured to tournament director. Instructions are in your dashboard and in emails sent to head coach.

-Tournament rules: Pool Play 1hr 50min time limit or 7 innings. Game can end in a tie; EH/XH/DH allowed. NFHS rules except MLB mound visit rule (pitcher must be removed upon second trip in an inning). PGBA will provide 2 official stamped Perfect Game baseballs for each game. Additional balls are the responsibility of each team. Run rules apply - 15 after 3, 10 after 4, 8 after 5. General rules have been pinned to the top of @PGBAcentex for quick reference.

We ask that everyone participating in any way shape or form in this event please review the following. *Each venue has a protocol in place to respectfully enforce compliance.

-PG recommends players, coaches, fans, and officials bring personal hand
sanitizer, masks, chairs, and antibacterial wipes to events for
personal use.
-Each player needs to have their own water jug.
-Equipment bags should remain outside of dugout (ether behind or outside along foul line fence or bull pen).
-There will be no good-game hands shakes between competing teams after the game. We encourage teams to acknowledge other teams sportsmanship by waiving across field at the conclusion of the game.
-We encourage social distancing during mound visits.
-The UIC (Umpire in Charge) and tournament director will be in constant contact throughout the tournament to ensure umpires are following best practices as well.
-Parents are asked to please stay in their car or parking lot until game time (or close to it) to allow for families from previous game to exit the facility and clear the area.
-Players, coaches, parents are asked to please vacate the complex immediately following the last out. Groups can organize in the parking lot for post game talks and instructions.
-Spectators are encouraged to bring pop-up tents and chairs and spread out around the backstop, left and right field lines.
-Bleachers will be open, but social distancing best practices will be followed. Try to avoid.
-We ask that everyone do their part to avoid unnecessary congregating.
