Nomar Diaz (2022 C, Comerio, PR) has about as simple and short a swing as you can find. As a result, he showed outstanding barrel accuracy and sprayed solid line drives around the field throughout his round. He took the same approach into his game at-bats, which is always good to see.
John Smith (2022 OF, Apollo Beach, FL) has a nice athletic build and very good hand quickness starting his swing. The ball came off his bat well and he showed the ability to both turn the barrel hard and to drive it to right centerfield with carry.
Brandon Vazquez (2022 OF, West Palm Beach, FL) has a nice left-handed swing with some strength behind it, especially when pulling the ball. He was consistently on time from a well balanced stance and projects well as he continues to get stronger.
Osmin Melendez (2022 SS, Orlando, FL) was one of the more projectable players at the showcase, with a young 6-2/171 build and lots of athleticism. He gets extended very well through the ball with some present bat speed and has plenty more bat speed coming ahead of him.
Ethan Petry (2022 3B, Land O Lakes, FL) is already known as one of the top power hitters in the 2022 class and he showed it well in BP, blasting some deep balls onto Mack Field. He really hits behind the ball well with lift in his swing and tons of extension.
Eric Correa (2023 OF, Carolina, PR) is a young left-handed hitter with a very smooth and tension free swing. He hits under control with good present bat speed and just looks like a natural hitter who sees the ball very well.
Freddy Oquendo (2022 OF, Hialeah, FL) impressed with his hands and the bat speed he created. He has "hitterish" hands that adjust well and always get the barrel to the ball on time, with solid line drive contact.
Victor Figueroa (2022 1B, New Port Richey, FL) is one big and strong young man at 6-4/240 and that strength is evident in his swing. He has a very accurate barrel from the left side and while his current swing has lots of barrel lag, he could develop top of the scale power when he learns to turn the barrel.
Zack Stewart (2022 3B, Lebanon, MO) is already regarded as one of the top left handed power hitters in the 2022 class and it looks like he's poised for a big spring. He looks strong and lean and the ball just explodes off his barrel.
Kelvin Agosto (2022 OF, Vega Baja, PR) takes a big hack at the ball but creates real bat speed with full extension through contact. He squared up almost every ball hard with firm pull line drive contact with occasional lift.
