Ethan Covello (2023 C, Durham, CT) smoked an inside the park homer into right centerfield. Short, easy swing with obvious pop to right center. He's had a really good weekend in all phases and continues this trend today.
Colin Davis (2026 SS, Langhorne, PA) pulled a single into left field to drive in a run. He has a loose, compact swing with advanced bat speed. The frame has some room for growth and he is already starting to tap into the strength.
Ryan Clark (2026 C, Akron, OH) hit a single hard the other way in the early innings. He stayed on the outside fastball well, showing the gap to gap approach. He's a twitchy player with intent in the swing.
Luke Childress (2024 3B, Tazewell, VA) came out of the bullpen and was really good. He sat right around 80 mph and touched 83 mph with feel to spin a sharp 11-5 shaped curveball. He has good arm speed and works down the mound efficiently.
Hunter Atkins (2023 3B, Randleman, NC) laced another single back up the middle. He has one of the quicker bats in attendance and has been good in all phases this weekend. He is a strong player with jump off the barrel. He also got on the mound and lived in the upper-70s with a downer shaped breaking ball mixed in.
Chase Ruben (2024 RHP, Chapel Hill, NC) collected an RBI with a single through the left side. He has a short swing with good bat speed through the zone.
Ben Reese (2025 OF, Goldsboro, NC) is a twitchy player that has collected a couple base hits this weekend. He stays short to the baseball and it results in a lot of barrels.
Luke Newman (2026 3B, Washington Crossing, PA) turned around a fastball and hit one back up the middle for a single. He has a lean frame with some more power coming soon.
