Caleb Riser (2025, Madison, Ga.) is a really strong athlete and showed well on both sides of the ball. The left-handed catcher launched a pullside bomb and sat back on offspeed for another knock. He runs pretty well on the bases and is overall a heady player. Flexible behind the dish, Riser has strong hands and is a strong receiver as well. Advanced catch and throw and advanced actions across the board.
Ian Herrington (2024, Meridian, Miss.) was dominant on the hill today. Really good body that projects well moving forward. Gets downhill plane sitting 85-87 mph. The heater has heavy life and proved to be tough to square up. Big shape to the curveball and was consistently landed for strikes. Punched out 7 in 3 innings.
Gabe Lee (2025, Swainsboro, Ga.) had a nice day at the plate going 2-for-2 with a triple. 6.77 runner proving to be athletic and flashed some effortless wheels on triple to the gap. He also made a nice play behind the dish hustling to make a tough grab in foul territory.
Tate Riggs (2024, Nolensville, Tenn.) had himself a day on both sides of the ball. Laced a double the other way and added on a knock. Present juice with some strength in the hands. Riggs also dominated on the bump for 3 innings, allowing no runs at a 81% strike rate.
