Adam Geller (2022 SS, La Canada, CA) doubled in his first at-bat on a line drive into the left centerfield gap. Was 85-88 with the fastball on the mound with a low 70's curve that he landed for strikes. Threw over 80 percent strikes during his outing and struck out four in his two innings on the mound.
Nigel Buckley (2023 C, Los Angeles, CA) continued to show his hit tool in game today. After hitting a home run in game one of his showcase he hit an opposite field triple in his first at-bat Sunday. A barreled up drive to the fence. Added an RBI single up the middle in his second at-bat. There's all fields hitting ability to go with some power.
Andrew Carter (2024 OF, Rancho Cucamonga, CA) barreled up a double to the left centerfield gap in his first at-bat. Ball jumped off of his barrel on one of the harder hit baseballs on the day. Added another double in his second at-bat to deep left field. Up to 85 on the mound with the fastball.
Tyler Young (2025 C, Simi Valley, CA) showed fastball and curveball on the mound in his two innings today. Struck out four and only allowed 1 baserunner. Fastball was up to 81 with the curveball working in the mid 60's with consistent shape.
Adam Arther (2023 LHP, Altadena, CA) has a two hit day in todays game. Handles the barrel well, recognizes pitches and will hit the ball on a line to all fields. Impressed on the mound yesterday and has shown true two-way ability as Sunshine West.
Garrett Patterson (2023 C, Upland, CA) showed an intriguing three pitch-mix in today game. A fastball consistently in the mid 80's and up to 86, a mid 70's slider with some late bite and a low 70's knuckleball that he has true feel for and threw strikes with. Struck out four in his outing on the mound.
Owen Meshekow (2024 OF, Torrance, CA) showed some speed and range in the outfield today. Got quality reads on ball in the air and made a great play ranging to his left and making a diving catch.
