4/30/2022 9:48:48 PM

Raymond Pena (2027, Pennsauken, NJ) smoked a double over the center fielders head in his first at-bat of the afternoon. Staying through a heater on the outer half of the zone, Pena carried his strong round of BP into game play, later coming around to score the game’s first run.

Nick Costa (2026, Mullica Hill, NJ) roped a single into left during his first trip to the plate, the 6’3”/193-pound left-hander used his long levers to stay through extension well with his linear path. Later throwing the 5th for the purple team, worked in the low-70s while working both sides of the plate,

Nico Leal (2026, Holmdel, NJ) totaled six punch outs during his three innings of work on the mound. Scattering two hits, Leal mixed his fastball and breaking ball well, generating tons of swing-and-miss. Leal would only need 40-pitches to get through three innings, working efficiently as he got ahead of hitters early and often.

Aidan Savinon (2026, East Elmhurst, NY) offered an intriguing look on the mound during his one inning of relief work. The physically built right-hander stands at 6’2, 225-pounds, using his long limbs to work down the mound. Grabbing an 80 mph during his outing, Savinon worked in the upper-70s, mixing in a curveball that flashed vertical depth and 11-5 shape.

Cole Lombardo (2026, Garnet Valley, PA) ripped a line-drive single down the left-field line, bringing in a run for the purple team. Lombardo showcased the quickness in his hands, turning on an inside fastball, dropping the bat head on the ball as he was just able to keep it fair.

Anthony Molinini (2026, Staten Island, NY) peppered a double into the left-center field gap, turning on a 74-mph fastball with his quick, compact stroke. Molinini has continued to display hitterish tendencies throughout the day after a very good round of BP.

Matthew Gryskiewicz (2027, Voorhees, NJ) brought home two as he sent a hard groundball down the third baseline, bringing home the gray’s team first two runs of the game. Gryskiewicz has impacted the ball well to the pull side displaying present strength in his hands.
