2022 World Uncommitted Showcase (2022 Grads) (01/15/2022 - 01/16/2022)

Batting Practice Highlights

Ashton Kehren (2022 C, Buford, GA) is a big and strong right handed hitter catcher who plays at the powerhouse Buford (GA) HS program.  He had a very good round of solid pull side line drives and really got the barrel out into the zone nicely and kept it there for a long time.

Derek Yahel Rodriguez (2022 OF, Coral Springs, FL) has a very good fundamental swing, with a nice path to the ball from a high hand start and some real bat speed.  He looks like he has a bright future at the plate.

Christopher Guzaldo (2022 SS, Tampa, FL) probably had the best bat speed at the Uncommitted Showcase.  He moves into the ball really well from a narrow start and hits through contact with nice extension out front.  There's more power to come as he gets stronger.

Dylan Cabrera (2022 2B, Fort Myers, FL) has a simple right-handed swing with good timing and some strength generated bat speed.  He put together a solid round of pull side line drives with some jump off the barrel.

Keaton Ference (2022 OF, Wesley Chapel, FL) has plenty of strength in his 6-1/200 frame and generates good bat speed.  Once he got timed up the ball was flying off his bat.

Nathan Hayes (2022 RHP, New Braunfels, TX) is a primary right handed pitcher but he has talent as a left-handed hitter as well.  He has the bat speed to top spin the ball with nice jump off the barrel and gets really nice extension through contact.
