Raul Martinez (2025 SS, Hockley, TX) has been making loud contact all weekend. He barreled another base hit early in this one and had a multi hit game. Shows impressive strength in his swing. Athletic reactions in the infield on defense as well.
Jake Baskin (2025 C, Houston, TX) threw an impressive 1-2-3 inning on the mound with a strikeout. His fastball was up to 80 MPH. Flashed a good curveball at 60 MPH that showed good depth. Low effort arm and comes at hitters from a high slot.
Kash Wood (2025 1B, Sinton, TX) continues to rake this weekend. He stroked another double in this swing and continues to show good barrel control. Athletic defender at first base as well and continues to make impressive scoops/stretches on throws. On the mound, his fastball was up to 76 MPH.
Nicolas Santos (2025 C, Humble, TX) was solid on the mound retiring five of the six hitters he faced. His fastball got up to 79 MPH and he paired it with a 61 MPH curveball. Showed solid command stayed away from barrels.
Hunter Elrod (2025 2B, New Braunfels, TX) continues his hot hitting this weekend with another well struck base hit in this game. He also swipped second base easily and stole without a throw. Toolsy player that can hit.
Chance Fields (2025 SS, Huffman, TX) has a very projectable frame on the mound. Delivery doesn't require much effort and the arm works. His fastball was up to 76 MPH and flashes a curveball that has some bite to it. Also showed good command.
