Kash Wood (2025 1B, Sinton, TX) put on a show in BP. He showed off solid raw power in his swing and uses the whole field well. He starts with the bat on his shoulder and has a big leg kick. The swing stays balanced with strength. The ball carries well off his bat with nice backspin.
Gian Fernandez (2025 C, The Woodlands, TX) showed off easy juice in his swing. He has a nice feel for the barrel and has some natural loft in the swing to generate power. He has an arm bar and the swing stays on plane well. Shows solid power to pullside.
Andrew Lunsford (2025 SS, Spring Branch, TX) made a lot of loud contact in BP. Shows good bat to ball skills and some sneaky pop. There's strength in the swing and frequently found the barrel. He sprayed line drives all over the field.
Raul Martinez (2025 SS, Hockley, TX) hit one out of the park during his BP session. He has solid power to his pullside and has a lot of strength and barrel control in the swing. Bat plane can be a bit of an upper cut and he does damage when he gets to it. He has a slight toe tap timing mechanism and comes through the zone from a high slot.
Owen Sherrill (2025 C, Houston, TX) swings with wide base and has a compact stroke. His power plays to all fields and has a good feel for the barrel. He's got some bat speed as well and there's good strength here. Has the makings of a good power hitting catcher.
