Sebastian Barrera (2025 C, Brownsville, TX) stroked a deep double to centerfield. Good strength to his swing and has some natural lift. Projectable athletic frame.Was also a threat on the base paths.
Kash Wood (2025 1B, Sinton, TX) made some loud contact and has a feel for the barrel. Easy juice to pullside and put on an impressive display in BP. Lot of strength in the swing here. Presents a big target at first base and good hands for the position.
Cameron Ertan (2025 RHP, Houston, TX) was impressive on the mound. He struck out four in three innings and only allowed one run. He ran his fastball up to 76 MPH and had some feel to spin a breaking ball. Quick arm speed and a thin projectable frame.
Nicolas Santos (2025 C, Humble, TX) showed off solid defensive ability behind the plate. He has solid catch and throw ability and hosed out a runner trying to steal second easily. Great receiver behind the dish and frames well.
Yarel Delgado (2025 OF, Katy, TX) was overpowering on the mound. He struck out four in two innings. Fast arm with a lively fastball that was up to 76. Also was working good at bats at the plate.
Jake Ludlam (2025 SS, Edmond, OK) roped an RBI double down the RF line. Shows a nice feel for the barrel and a whole field approach. Good run tool.
Andrew Lunsford (2025 SS, Spring Branch, TX) had a multi hit day that included an RBI double. Showed some quick bat speed and has advanced plate discipline. Good contact skills at the plate and uses the whole field well.
Hunter Elrod (2025 2B, New Braunfels, TX) had a multi hit game. Smooth left handed swing and has bat to ball skills. Keeps the bat on plane and can spray liners to all fields.
