AJ Colarusso (2022 LHP, Leominster, MA) absolutely dealt on the mound Saturday, running the gun up to 88 while striking out 12 in 4.0 innings of work. He had complete control of all three pitches in his arsenal (FB CB CH) and consistently kept hitters off balance.
Jake Merz (2024 C, Congers, NY) showed serious opposite field power on the day, blasting a shot to the right centerfield gap with a repeatable inside out swing. He also displayed quickness on the bases, legging out a triple with ease.
Jacob Fink (2023 OF, Clarks Summit, PA) showcased tight compact hands at the plate, going 2-3 with two doubles on the day. He successfully drove the ball into the pull side gap with solid backspin and power potential.
Zander Tesoriere (2022 SS, Massapequa, NY) roped a triple into the left centerfield gap on Saturday, showing both raw power potential and wheels on the basepaths. He kept his hands inside the baseball well and generated solid backspin on the ball.
Zachary Braig (2024 C, Woolwich Township, NJ) went 2-3 with a triple on the day, showcasing quick hands and raw bat speed. He put together tough AB’s at the plate and displayed a simple repeatable swing.
