Holden Cooper (2024 C, Raleigh, NC) doubled and singled in the game for the Gray team today. Cooper showed pop in his bat with an ability to square the ball up. Cooper also showed good catch and release skills behind the plate throwing a guy out on the bases.
Tanner Schaedel (2024 RHP/INF, Virginia Beach, VA) singled twice in this mornings game. Schaedel showed a sound approach at the plate hitting the ball where it's pitched and makes consistent contact.
Tavis Spiller (2024 SS, Mechanicsville, VA) singled in his first and third at bats of the day today. Spiller showed a contact approach at the plate with a level swing.
Trevor McAndrews (2023 SS, Arlington, VA) singled in his fist two at bars of the day. McAndrews showed a confident approach at the plate with bat speed and consistently barreled the ball up.
Austin Bausman (2023 SS/RHP, Hallam, PA) topped out at 82mph on his fastball today mixing in his slider at 71mph. Bausman pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot, working quickly on the mound and pounded the strike zone. At the plate Bausman lined a triple down the RF line and showed off good instincts on the bases.
Eddie Thompson (2021 LHP/1B, Cary, NC) tripled and singled in the game for the Orange team. Thompson Thompson showed good barrel control at the plate and squared the ball up a couple times today.
Humraz Sidhu (2024 3B, Lenexa, KS) had a good showing defensively today. Sidhu showed good agility on the infield and an accurate arm with soft hands.
Mason Myers (2024 SS, St Clairsville, OH) singled in each of his first two at bats today. Myers showed an aggressive approach at the plate with a line drive swing plane and has bat speed.
Damian Mantzios (2024 3B, Agawam, MA) singled his first two times batting as well for the Orange team. Mantzios hits the ball where it's pitched and made consistent contact at the plate.
Ben Moyzan (2022 2B/RHP, Bethlehem, PA) topped out at 85mph on his fastball mixing in his curveball at 68mph. Moyzan has a live arm with good depth to his curveball and was gaining velocity throughout his outing.
