David Shields (2025 LHP, Pittsburgh, PA) impressed on the mound with 3 efficient innings utilizing a 3 pitch mix and recorded 2 Ks. Shields pounded the strike zone with a fastball up to 79 with arm side run from the left side mixing in a quality breaking ball that showed good spin and depth from a similar slot to FB and flashed a CH.
TJ Thomas (2025 1B, Parkersburg, WV) had a loud day at the plate driving balls gap to gap for two triples in the game showing some pop in his barrel and ability to take the ball to all fields.
Jay Slater (2024 C, Downingtown, PA) recorded 3 hits in 3 ABs and showed the ability to make hard contact to all fields with an advanced approach at the plate
Nathaniel Jensen (2024 3B, Virginia Beach, VA) exhibited a contact approach at the plate and had a solid showing at the plate collecting two hits in the game.
Xavier Sjostedt (2023 LHP, Furlong, PA) used a pull side approach and turned on pitches in both ABs to collect base hits to the right side each AB.
Ajonte Bullock (2025 OF, Gettysburg, PA) was solid on the mound in his two innings of work. Bullock filled up the strike zone with a FB up to 78 MPH that had a nice cut action and allowed only 1 hit with 2 Ks in his 2 innings.
