Nathan Owen (2024 SS, Columbiana, AL) - impressed in his one inning on the mound, living 80-81 with his fastball and the ability to trust his breaking ball. He struck out 2 hitters.
Ashton Birmingham (2022 MIF, Opelika, AL) - displayed his abilities on the mound and at the plate, staying on top of a high FB and roping it into LF for a single. He also threw 2 innings on the mound while limiting the other team to only 2 hits.
Caleb Castle (2022 SS, Houston, TX) - was impressive on the mound, sitting 80-85 and showing good feel for his 11-5 curveball. He also mixed up timing and kept hitters guessing throughout the outing, striking out 6 in his 3 innings of work.
Kobe Lewis (2021 OF, Birmingham, AL) - showcased his two-way skills in the game, going 1-3 at the plate and working 3 innings of 1 hit ball on the mound. He showed the ability to keep hitters guessing with his 80 MPH fastball and big looping 56 MPH breaking ball, striking out 4 and walking none. He was also very aggressive on the bases, recording a stolen base.
Gannon Pharr (2024 2B, Sterrett, AL) - Smoked a double into the right center field gap in his final at bat, showing the ability to take the ball the other way and drive it to the opposite part of the field.
