Jimmy "Witt" Wetherington (2022, Boston, GA) has quick hands and good feel for the barrel while showing the ability to go the other way going 2-2 with 2 runs scored in the game.
Hank Eaton (2024 SS, Corinth, MS) impressed on the bump going two strong while retiring all six hitters he faced and collected three punch outs. He showcased a controlled delivery and a long whippy arm action with his fastball sitting 81-84 MPH with good arm side run and mixed in a late sweeping slider with good bite at 71 MPH. Eaton also stood out on the offensive side with a simple easy stroke going 1-3 with a run scored and swiping 3 bags.
Jaylen Morgan (2021 OF, Dacula, GA) displayed an advanced approach at the plate with quick hands smoking a ball to the left centerfield gap for a triple in the game. He also put in 2-innings of work on the mound striking out 6 of the 8 hitters he faced. Morgan has an aggressive demeanor on the bump with high energy delivery and a loose whippy arm action. He showed good command of his fastball that sat 80-84 MPH while mixing in a 12/6 breaking ball at 68 MPH and change-up at 74 MPH.
Ryan Mimbs (2021 3B, East Dublin, GA) had a good outing on the mound over his 2-innings of work recording 4 K's. Mimbs showed good command of his fastball that sat 80-83 MPH with good life and sink while mixing in a good breaking ball at 71 MPH that was firm with good arm speed and depth through the zone.
