2019 Gulf Coast Prospect (08/10/2019 - 08/11/2019)

Purple vs Red Game Highlights
8/10/2019 3:14:16 PM
Mailon Reese (2020 OF, Auburn, AL) has a very advanced approach at the plate and shows a very good ability to be a tough out at the plate. He occupied the base paths quite often in todays action, he was 3-4 with three singles back up the middle. He shows good consistent barrel control and feel, with a quick bat and hands.

Davis Randolph (2022 3B, Tuscaloosa, AL) is a younger prospect in this game who showed his ability to drive the ball the other way with pop. He is a very good athlete that shows projection, while already showing present bat speed and barrel skills. He smoked a triple, along with picking up a single later on in the game.

Casey Holloway (2020 SS, Fairburn, GA) showed good present strength at the plate racking up an extra base knock. He has good bat speed with an advanced approach at the plate and look to do some damage. He also showed good speed on the base paths, with good turns around the bases.

Ben David (2020 C, Lake Charles, LA) picked up two hits in the afternoon game today. He was very good defensively as well throwing out 2 would be base stealers, shows good catch and throw ability with a quick release. The bat shows good present strength with the ability to drive the baseball.

Emery Wright (2021 C, Knoxville, TN) was 3-3 in the game today, shows the ability to barrel up the baseball consistently. Emery shows a patient approach and really lets the ball travel into the hitting zone nicely and shows ability to take the pitch the other way. He shows a lot of athleticism as a catcher and will be a guy to keep an eye on.

Landon Leake (2021 SS, Helena, AL) picked up two hits in the game, both being very well hit balls. He shows a very good frame with present strength and quicks hands. Landon has a line drive swing path and really lets the ball get deep into the hitting zone and swings with intent to do damage.

Cameron Keshock (2022 RHP, Spanish Fort, AL) supports a large projectable frame with room to add some strength as he is still a young prospect. He tossed 3 innings in todays game striking out 7 batters and working his Fastball 84-88mph. He works from a high 3/4 arm slot which creates good arm-side sinking action on his Fastball. It comes out of his hand very easy and loose, also flashed a Curveball with 11/5 shape with depth and ability to land it for strikes consistently.
