53-White vs. 54-Black Highlights
12/30/2018 11:11:17 AM
Diego Vega (2022 SS, Añasco, PR) ripped a triple down the left field line to open up the game for the White team. Vega has a line drive swing plane with quick hands that work smoothly to the point of contact. He also had an outstanding diving play at second base.

Cam Collier (2023 3B, Chicago, IL) struck a pair of deep fly ball doubles to his pull side and followed it up with a hard double down the line as well. The ball leaves his bat in a hurry with a nice launch angle. Collier has advanced strength to and through contact.

Cooper Milford (2023 OF, Cumming, GA) did a nice job of letting the outer half pitch travel and getting the head of the bat to it on time. The righthanded hitter was a single short of the cycle and finished the day 4-4 with a double, 2 triples, and an inside-the-park home run.

Christopher Carroll (2023 SS, Cutler Bay, FL) has a quick bat with nice barrel skills. Carroll continued from a hot day at the plate yesterday with a hard double to his pull side.

Bryant Zayas (2023 SS, Hialeah, FL) produced the two hardest hit balls of the day with a line drive triple to deep left field and a deep fly ball to his pull side. Zayas has advanced bat speed for his age along with plenty of strength through contact.

Charlie Knighton (2023 3B, Richmond, VA) connected on a line drive single to left field and a pair fly ball doubles to pull. Knighton flashes good bat speed with a well-timed leg lift trigger in his stroke.

Evan Folse (2023 RHP, Mandeville, LA) showed his barrel ability getting the bat head out in front for middle of the field contact throughout the contest. Folse finished the day 4-5 that included 4 singles.

Kaleb Higgs (2023 RHP, Justin, TX) made plenty of hard contact with the bat flashing potential power as well. Higgs had a pair of deep doubles in the game each to his pull side

Bryan Rios (2023 SS, Newark, NJ) had a trio of line drive singles resulting from his loose and easy stroke. Rios hits the baseball where it is pitched from his contact-oriented approach.

Max McCammon (2023 C, Bloomington, IN) has a compact swing with a level barrel plane. His day ended with 4 hits all resulting in line drives to his pull side.

Freddy Beruvides (2023 LHP, Palm Beach Gardens, FL) sprayed the baseball to all parts of the field. The lefty’s swing is smooth with nice barrel control and jump off of the bat when squared.
