11-Navy vs. 27-Royal Highlights
12/30/2017 9:21:42 AM
Ross Friedrick (2019 C, Alpharetta, GA) collected three hits in the game, all of them absolutely smoked doubles. There is a lot of strength and balance to the swing with natural leverage to pull the ball and current power.

Jacob Pajer (2020 OF, Dunwoody, GA) showed impressive bat-to-ball skills with multiple barreled balls during the game today. He showed the ability to lift the ball which included a hard hit double to the pull side gap.

AJ Fiechter (2021 SS, Cumming, GA) collected a couple of hits during the game but really stood out defensively at shortstop. The hands are smooth and actions sure as he made a number of impressive plays including a sliding catch in the hole behind shortstop.

Coy Martin (2020 LHP, Ball Ground, GA) displayed a smooth lefthanded swing and got out of the box quickly on his hustle-double to the pull side gap. Martin has a simple trigger and line drive swing plane with the ability to get the barrel head out in front of the plate.

Preston Winget (2020 OF, Draper, UT) has a compact and clean swing path with quick hands to get the barrel through the zone quickly.  Winget has a naturally lofted swing plane and good contact skills.

Nicholas Carr (2021 OF, Saddle River, NJ) worked with loose hands at the plate which included three hits on the day. Carr has a contact-oriented swing path and approach with good contact skills too.

Will Sanders (2020 RHP, Atlanta, GA) a primary arm, showed looseness to the swing path from the left side. He collected three hits on the day and showed a willingness to go to the opposite field with authority which ended up being two of his hits the other way.

Nate Anderson (2020 OF, Dunwoody, GA) has good speed with a prototypical leadoff approach. He showed off his speed by beating out an infield single which he got to first base in under 4.4 seconds with a simple, short swing for base hits.
