Benjamin Terry (2018 OF, Santa Monica, CA) showed ability to pull his hands in on a fastball deep in on his hands. Hit a loud barrel to deep left center, showing quick hands and bat speed for a RBI standup double.
Ryusei Hando (2018 IF, Sanda, HG) shows good, mature actions at shortstop. Made a number of plays with ease, in particular a charge play – smooth and quick with the feet, good expedited transfer to get his man at first. Also showed a solid approach at the plate, staying squared and back well on a breaking ball for a line drive to the left side.
Ryan Lamastra (2019 MIF, Corona, CA) is a 5'8", 149-pound primary middle infielder who impressed with his stuff on the mound in his outing this afternoon. Up to 79 MPH, he had a quick arm and featured a moving fastball to his arm side with a tight spinning curveball with depth that he showed feel for.
Kento Saiki (2018 1B, Yokohama, KN) features a deep arm action around back, pounding hitters with a heavier fastball that touched 81 MPH. He shows some tempo and works off a 12 to 6 curveball and mixes in a changeup as well.
