Michael Goehrig (2018 C, Suwanee, GA) had three singles on the day for the Royal team this afternoon. Goehrig has a good approach at the plate with a fluid swing through the zone, hits the ball to all fields and has a line drive swing plane.
Luke Hasty (2021 C, Phenix City, AL) singled in the game for the Royal team today. Hasty has a good bat speed with a level swing and makes consistent contact. Hasty gets down the line well and is aggressive one the bases.
David Lawson (2017 OF, Monticello, GA) smoked two line drives in the game this afternoon including one that went for a double. Lawson has a level swing hitting the ball to all fields with bat speed.
CJ Neese Jr (2019 SS, Greensboro, NC) sat 85-89mph with his fastball today mixing in a slider at 80mph and his changeup at 81mph. Neese Jr. throws downhill with arm side run to his fastball and his slider has good hard bite. At the plate Neese Jr. has an aggressive approach at the plate with bat speed and a nice easy swing.
Tyler Williams (2019 OF, Lilburn, GA) singled and doubled in this afternoons game. Williams consistently squared the ball up this afternoons with some bat in his bat and displayed bat speed.
Bailey Watkins (2019 2B, Dora, AL) reached base three times today including singling twice. Watkins has a sound approach at the plate with a level swing and makes solid consistent contact.
Michael McClanahan (2019 OF, Papillion, NE) had two hits today including tripling in his first at bat. McClanahan has a good approach at the plate with a fluid swing and good hand speed through the zone.
Stephen Hickman (2018 OF, Charleston, SC) singled all three times he came up to the plate today. Hickman has a fluid swing at the plate with bat speed and made consistent line drive contact.
Luke Poole (2019 OF, Greenwood, SC) doubled in his at bat for the Red team today. Poole has good raw power at the plate with bat speed and the ball jumps off his bat.
