TOP PROSPECT LIST

RHP B.J. Hermsen (West Delaware HS, Masonville, IA): Hermsen was at the point where so many Iowa pitching prospects seem to be in mid-April as seniors with no high school season. He looked loose and easy and threw in the upper 80’s but lack of game action means his mechanics and off speed pitches aren’t in top form.
 
SS Brance Rivera (Muscatine, IA): This is probably the best we’ve seen Rivera. He’s stronger and that really showed in his bat speed and overall hitting ability. He ran 6.58 and was agile and fluid on defense.
 
OF Brent Warren (Xavier HS, Cedar Rapids, IA): Warren was hampered by a pulled quad, whic
