Nathan Hollenbeck (2024, Rolesville, N.C.) is an uncommitted right-handed pitcher for the Team Elite American 16u who took the ball in the start of the morning game. He was in control of the game from pitch one, moving the fastball on both sides of the plate and creating downhill action while topping 82 mph. He maintained velocity the entire game and mixed in a strikeout breaking ball with tight, sharp depth that disappears on the hitters. Hollenbeck has a tall, projectable frame with long arms showing a smooth delivery, good arm speed, and great extension to the plate. Hollenbeck finished the game going seven innings with 11 strikeouts allowing only three hits with the first allowed in the sixth inning.
