Dillon Stiltner (2025, Newnan, Ga.) possesses a lot of those characteristics you look for in a young pitcher that will form into a dominant arm down the road. He stands at a lean 6-foot and has plenty of room to still fill out. The arm stroke is online and smooth as he repeats his actions from an operational standpoint. Outside of the fundamentally sound mechanics, he flashed feel for three legit pitches. He liked to work off the fastball, which was up to 82 mph early while working it in all four quadrants. He also mixed in a fading changeup that he tunneled off the heater right around 70 mph. His best secondary was a sharp-spinning breaker that had late life to it. It’s not your big breaking ball you see often at this age but rather a short life breaker in the upper-60s to low-70s that had guys swinging and missing. The upside here is immense for the Yankees Baseball Club North squad member as he went four innings pitched while striking out three on the same number of walks on just one hit.
