Sophia Schlader is a 2028 RHP/1B, 3B, SS, OF from Urbandale, IA who attends Waukee Northwest. A athlete that not only can dominate on the mound but steps up offensively as well. Sophia is a exceptional two way athlete with big upside. In the circle Sophia has four main pitches: fastball, change up, riseball and dropball. she has a good motion with good speed and snap. Does a great job generating power off the mound. She is a pitcher that understands how to make adjustments quickly. Does a good job spotting her pitches and will continue to get better as she develops. Offensively, she is a right handed stand in with next level bat speed. Understands how to utilize her lower half and gets through extension well. Overall Sophia has the potential to play at the next level. Very big future ahead for this young and talented athlete.
