2022 PG Softball KC Scouting Combine - Fall
Kyra Kain is a 2024 2B/1B, IF, OF from Urbandale, IA who attends Urbandale. Kyra is an athletic player who did a great job at our Kansas City showcase this past October. Kyra is an explosive athlete offensively and is a type of player who can change the game with one swing of the bat. She showcased as a second baseman and is a very smooth athlete with a good smooth transfer out of her glove. Has very good field awareness and did a great job with her throwing slot depending on speed of the ball. Offensively, she is a strong left handed power hitter who has a good solid swing. Has gap to gap power and did a great job generating explosive barrel speed and pop. Has big power potential at the plate and continued to get better and better during her round. Overall, Kyra is a smooth athletic second baseman with the ability to play at the next level. I am excited to see what the future holds for her.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
