AUBREY HORNE UNEXPECTANTLY PASSED AWAY FEBRUARY 7th, 2024. SHE WAS JUST 14 YEARS OLD AND FULL OF LIFE WHEN HER DEATH SHOCKED THE SOFTBALL COMMUNITY AFTER SHE TOOK HER OWN LIFE. AUBREY'S PARENTS & FAMILY HAVE KEPT HER LEGACY ALIVE BY HONORING AUBREY WITH A $1000 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED TO ONE PLAYER FROM THIS TOURNAMENT TO HELP COVER 2026 TRAVEL BALL EXPENSES. AUBREY'S FAMILY WILL BE CHOOSING THE RECIPIENT OF THIS SCHOLARSHIP AND THE RECIPIENT WILL BE ANNOUNCED & AWARDED AT THIS TOURNAMENT. IN ORDER TO APPLY, THE PLAYER MUST BE PLAYING IN THIS TOURNAMENT. COACHES, PARENTS AND/OR PLAYERS CAN SELF-SUBMIT OR MAKE SUBMISSIONS FOR OTHERS. SUBMISSION PERIOD WILL RUN FROM FEBRUARY 16th TO MARCH 1st. - A SHORT PARAGRAPH ON HOW THIS MONEY WILL HELP THE PLAYER. 

TWO POOL, SINGLE ELIMINATION FORMAT. ALL WINNING & RUNNER UP TEAMS WILL RECEIVE PURPLE RINGS, MEDALS & BANNERS. MVPS AWARDED FOR ALL BRACKET GAME WINNING TEAMS. ALL VIDEOS AND PICTURES POSTED ON PERFECT GAME SOFTBALL SEC FACEBOOK PAGE. 

***DIAMONDKAST IS NOT A REQUIREMENT BUT STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. IT IS FREE TO SCORE YOUR TEAM'S GAMES ON THE APP. SCORING ON THE APP ALLOWS YOUR GAMES TO BE AUTOMATICALLY UPLOADED TO THE PG WEBSITE.
