451. Brett Wright, c, Auburn (JR)
R-R, 6-0/210, New Caney, Tex.
Previously Drafted: Never Drafted

Wright has had a pretty solid season for the Auburn Tigers following his transfer from San Jacinto Junior College. Wright has surprising righthanded pop with 10 home runs on the season and projects to stick behind the plate at the next level. The arm strength is solid and he registers pop times in the 1.9-2.0 second range consistently with solid defensive actions and instincts.

452. Patrick Raby, rhp, Vanderbilt (JR)
R-R, 6-3/230, Knoxville, Tenn.
Previously Drafted: Never Drafted

Raby has been a stalwart in the Vanderbilt pitching staff since his arrival on campus in 2016, and 2018 has been no exception. Raby is 4-5 with a 3.47 ERA across 62 1/3 innings, doing a fair job of limiting hits and walks but also striking out less than a batter per inning. His stuff certainly isn't overpowering but he does a good job of attacking hitters, and his slider, his best pitch, does a fair job of being able to miss both barrels and bats.

453. Jayce Easley, ss, O’Connor HS
B-R, 5-10/150, Glendale, Ariz.
College Commitment: Oregon State

The son of former Major Leaguer Damion Easley, Jayce has excellent traits on both sides of the ball that project very well to the next level. An Oregon State signee, Easley has very advanced bat-to-ball skills and puts the ball in play with authority from both sides. The defensive skills are very impressive with smooth actions and fluidity as Easley is a very good overall defender, though the arm strength may push him off shortstop at the next level.

454. Cal Stevenson, of, Arizona (SR)
L-L, 5-9/170, Fremont, Calif.
Previously Drafted: Dodgers '16 (36)

Stevenson has been a real sparkplug for Arizona since transferring in before the 2017 season, and has been a mainstay in their everyday lineup since. In 2018 he slashed .293/.416/.397 with 10 extra-base hits and about twice as many walks as strikeouts. The stat line gives away a lot of what Stevenson's profile is, as he doesn't have many tools but is a very good bat-to-ball outfielder from the left side with an excellent approach. He commands the zone well and can make contact all over it, but won't expand and is willing to walk. There's some athleticism and speed there but he's better suited for a corner outfield spot, where his lack of power holds back the profile some. Regardless, he should be a very quality money-saver as a senior sign. 


455. Ryan Fernandez, rhp, Hillsborough (JC)
R-R, 6-0/170, Tampa, Fla.
Previously Drafted: Never Drafted; College Commitment: Tampa

Another of several potential draft choices from Hillsborough JC, Fernandez had a solid year as a sophomore. The righthander went 8-2 with a 4.56 ERA over 81 innings, seeing time both in the rotation and out of the bullpen. He collected 82 strikeouts and did a good job of limiting his walks, but was too hittable at times. He's undersized as far as righthanded pitchers go, and scouts believe he's likely destined for the bullpen, but has been up to 95 mph with his fastball at times and shows a solid average changeup to go with a below average breaking ball and quality strike-throwing ability.
