The only Puerto Rican in this year’s All-American Classic, Zabala has an outstanding combination of blazing speed and big righthanded power. He’s run the 60-yard dash in 6.28 seconds in the past and wowed evaluators at the PG National Showcases with his deep drives into the left field stands at Phoenix’s Chase Field. Zabala’s strong arm means he could play in either center field or right field in the future. His strong build and tool-set is reminiscent of former Dodger outfielder Raul Mondesi.
