Dylan Palmer is a 2026 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Zebulon, NC who attends East Wake Academy. Solid build with some current muscularity and a lot of time to build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.33 seconds. Primary position OF, moving easily to the ball and working the glove out front. Squares up to field and then works a functional crow hop and gets through the ball well. Full arm path with good life and throws up to 79 mph to the infield. Reps at 1B too, with firmer glove work, securing the ball and using quick, short arm action generating throws up to 81 mph. Decent feel around the bag for sure. Secondary LHP, using full windup from the 3B side of the rubber and big side step to solid posture over the rubber. Leg lift just above the belt, holding hands just below the letters before breaking into deep offline arm path. 3/4 arm angle to release and tends to get a bit rotational before foot strike. FB up to 79 mph with varying spin traits between 1,800 to 2,100 rpms. CB with legitimate vertical depth in the upper-60s to go with a CH on the firmer side with deadening spin in the low-70s. Young left-handed arm with some two-way appeal. LHH working from a narrow start, very high handset and bigger stride to get things going. Strong hands develops excellent bat speed and challenged the fences on several occasions in batting practice. Really excelled in live ABs as well, peppering several opposite field line drives with loud contact. Tremendous two-way potential and an outstanding student as well.
