Jackson Fetters is a 2027 RHP/1B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from China Spring, TX who attends China Spring. A taller kid with a stronger and more physical look to it. Ran a 7.63 60-yard dash. A primary right-handed pitcher who works in the middle of the rubber, working from a higher three-quarters angle. He showed more of an over-the-top slot at times. Used the lower half well with a quick arm stroke, showing good intent to the plate. The fastball was up to 84 mph with good arm-side life to it. He missed some bats with the heater. He flashed a low-70s curveball with an 11-5 shape to it, showing some hump. He also showed a changeup in the mid-70s with an arm-side fade. Mixed all three pitches and had a looser arm stroke. He threw 3.0 innings with one hit and seven strikeouts to his credit. A right-handed hitter with a big stride, showing strength through his round of BP. A balanced base with a smaller leg lift, shifting his timing and weight well. He impacted the ball well through the middle of the field. Rotated the upper half well and could impact it with strength out in front. Showed a good feel for the barrel. The ball has some good carry to it off the barrel. Produced an 88 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Added a base hit in-game as well. Worked out as an infielder with a taller build, showing the look during his round of workouts. He had decent range to both sides with good lateral movement—clean and soft glovework, with actions that worked throwing 79 mph across the diamond. Great student.
