Milo Rushford is a 2022 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Sahuarita, AZ who attends Walden Grove. Features a strong, lean build with outstanding athleticism. Still has room to add. Quick runner. Ran a 6.51 60-yard. Athleticism played throughout outfield drills. Charges the ball well. Maintains fluidity throughout fielding actions. Quick ball transfer transitions into a smooth, long arm swing with advanced arm speed. Generates on-line carry often. Utilizes a square stance with feet shoulder width apart and hands letter high. Simple load with short stride and minimal hand movement. Allows for swing to be on time consistently. Showed solid bat speed that leads to hard hit balls. Has advanced feel for the barrel. Power in the profile should only continue to improve as more strength is added to the frame. Potential two-way player with intriguing traits on the mound. Utilizes an athletic delivery with slight drop and drive mechanics. The ball remains hidden for majority of the high 3/4 arm swing. The fastball was up to 87 mph with ride through the zone. Has the ability to get it in on right-handed hitters often. Paired it with a dominant, low-70’s changeup. Also showed a upper-60’s curveball with occasional sharp, downward action and a low-70’s slider with sweeping action. Missed bats with all four pitches at times. Has legit two-way potential. New Mexico State commit. Excellent student, as well.
