Ty Bernal is a 2027 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Arroyo Grande, CA who attends Nipomo. Slender frame. Ran an 8.19 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder that can also play first base, showed sound fundamental actions from both spots, still growing into the athleticism some and completed plays with solid average arm strength and accuracy. Hit from an upright stance, developing strength in the swing, casts the hands some and gets the barrel out front. Swing projects with added strength and connectivity to back side rotation. Showed some repeatable movements on the mound with a three-quarter arm slot.and a three pitch mix. Fastball up to 78, developing spin traits to the breaking ball and a straight change up that played well off the fastball. Very good student.
