Jayson Rodriguez is a 2025 RHP/1B, 3B, OF, UT with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Santa Maria, CA who attends St. Joseph. Medium frame with long limbs showing room to fill out physically, making him projectable. Ran a 8.96 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a quick delivery as he lifts to the belt before driving down the mound. Shorter arm stroke in the back before releasing from a high three-quarter slot. Fastball up to 71 mph and mixed in a slurvy breaking ball as well in the low-60's. Proved he could fill up the zone during his bullpen. Secondary First Baseman, did a good job playing the baseball in front of him as he scooped it up with confidence. Footwork showing as proper turning two as he threw it 68 mph with accuracy. Secondary Third Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he gathers out front. Funnels to the body before shuffling into transfers. Accurate across the diamond as he threw it 70 mph. Secondary Outfielder, also sitting back on the baseball here as he made sure to gather it cleanly. Worked into an uphill release as he looked to carry throws all the way to target. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced with high hands before striding out. Longer swing path as he looked to lift the baseball. Middle of the field approach and proved he could go the other way as well. Ball jumped off the barrel when he timed it up properly.
