Keegan Winkles is a 2025 SS with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Madison, AL who attends Sparkman High School. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to grow and develop throughout. Ran an 8.41 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front, deeper funnel working into a shorter arm action on throws across, takes short steps moving towards the ball, can continue to incorporate additional footwork into release, accurate throws across the diamond, balanced on the charge. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a double toe tap trigger for timing in the box. Handsy swing, carries them low through swing path, gets downward with path at times, shows comfort working to the pull side when getting the barrel out front, can incorporate additional lower half into swing.
