Massimo Mittone is a 2028 SS/RHP with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Piedmont, CA who attends Marin Catholic. Features a big, tall, physical, projectable frame. Extremely athletic on the mound. Uses the lower half well down the bump. Fastball has arm side run coupled with a breaking ball with sweep. In the outfield, he showed proper technique and the ability to work through the baseball. Has short arm action with one hop accuracy. On the infield, he moved well laterally and made all the plays. Showed the ability to funnel and throw from multiple angles. Has a quick, accurate arm. At the plate, he has a medium base with a leg lift load. Shoots his hands at the ball with present bat speed. Stays on a level plane and found the barrel consistently. Ran a 7.74 sixty-yard dash. Named to the 2023 Fall Northern California Showcase Top Player List.
