Jake Jorgensen is a 2024 MIF/RHP, OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Jesuit College Prep. Posted a 7.43 in the 60. Primary MIF, he is an athletic build with projection left physically to round out his tools. He showed good feel for infield actions ranging controlled to both sides with a soft glove. Funnels clean with good footwork and a quick release finishing plays. Present athleticism translates very well up the middle with an efficient arm to build on. Also pitched and showed some knowledge of the zone. His operation has young pitcher tendencies with time to connect his delivery. Right-handed hitter starts with a spread base and even hands set. Has a short lift trigger that is on time and direct hand path to the zone. His swing is compact and geared to produce contact, he found consistent barrels to each gap showing an easy hit tool with impact ahead of him. Good student.
