Dalton Gray is a 2022 RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Ft Payne, AL who attends Fort Payne. Medium athletic build. Compact arm circle in back on the mound, side step/high leg raise start, 3/4's arm slot, stays directional well in his delivery with good extension to the plate out front, solid mechanics that he repeats well. Upper 70's fastball, has nice command of his fastball and works it to both sides of the plate with intent, gets some running action at times. Curveball is a good second pitch with command and some biting action with depth. Still developing feel for his change up. Mature pitcher with good command and poise. 7.78 runner. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance with a rotational upper body swing, middle of the field contact approach. Good student.
