Brandon Cain is a 2022 2B/RHP, 3B, SS, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Mobile, AL who attends Baker. Showed a smaller frame with a young build and some room to fill out down the road. Ran a 7.20 second sixty yard dash. Primary Infielder showing some confidence while in the field. Flashy glove working into a clean transfer showing younger footwork. Sat back on the baseball before reading it and then worked through it. Secondary Righthanded pitcher showing simple, fluid mechanics while finishing square to the plate as he filled up the strike zone. Utilized a shorter stride length before delivering from a three-quarter arm slot. Righthanded hitter starting from a spread out stance with no big weight transfer. Keeps everything on backside with a slightly longer bat path to the baseball. Shows a slight bat wrap over the head as well. Gap to gap approach. Outstanding Student.
