John Hendrickson is a 2022 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Olathe, KS who attends Olathe South. Medium build with present physicality and room to still strengthen as he continues to develop. Primary catcher, sets up in a conventional crouch, stands straight up out of his crouch, looks to get rid of the ball quickly, replaces feet on his throws down to the second base bag. Violent actions, posted a 2.15 second pop time in the catching workouts. At the plate, uses an even and upright stance with a leg kick trigger. Still more left to be unlocked in his lower half. Keeps his barrel on his shoulder until he loads. Slight upper body coil, middle to pull side approach. Looks to attack, aggressive overall approach.
