Raymond Pena is a 2027 3B/C with a 5-8 190 lb. frame from Pennsauken, NJ who attends Pennsauken. Physical, durable build with present strength throughout his frame. Recorded a 7.98-second sixty-time. Primary third baseman, fields out in front with a deep funnel. Clean glove actions with some range going to his backhand. Accurate throws across the diamond while continuing to develop arm strength, up to 69 mph. Secondary catcher, side saddle set up, gaining some ground towards his target. Some accurate throws to the base, recording a best pop time of 2.24-seconds. Was up to 69 mph from the behind the plate as well. Right-handed hitter, sets up with a wide base and an open stance. Middle-of-the-field impact when on time with some juice to the gaps. Short, compact stroke with feel for the barrel, staying through extension well. Strong round of BP translated over into gameplay with several well-struck balls that went for extra-bases. Named to 13U/14U Mid-Atlantic Showcase Top Prospect list.
