Grant Castle is a 2025 2B/RHP, OF with a 5-5 121 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends West Forsyth. He ran a 8.47 second sixty. A primary second baseman with a young build and room to fill in the frame. On the infield he shows stiff hands actions with the glove getting down in time, he moved well through the ball with developing arm strength across the diamond. In the outfield he worked deliberately to the ball with a full arm action to a high three-quarters release throwing over a stiff front leg. On the mound he starts with a belt high leg lift getting his weight over the back side before driving down the mound, the fastball sat 62-64 mph with cutting action at times when he got on the side of it. From the right side of the plate he starts with an even stance and deep hand load creating some separation with a shorter stride, the barrel works level through the hitting zone with a limited weight shift into contact. Excellent student.
