2023 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Zachary Broderson is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Dover, NJ who attends Mount Olive. Compact current frame with some life to his actions and emerging overall strength and physicality. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.34 seconds. Primary position infielder, showing good first step quickness and solid overall range on the clay. Smooth glove action with good snap as the ball hits and sticks with confidence. Showed the ability to throw from varying slots based on the play and showed excellent arm strength up to 80 mph across the diamond. Right handed hitter, working from a slightly open stance and solid handset. Bat speed is present and when he stayed on plane the ball jumped off the barrel. Will let hands leak downward at times but really works the middle of the field and projects power in the future. Excellent student as well.
